Join us to learn and develop you canoe skills in the Scottish Highlands, with handpicked lochs and river we will help you master you craft on this 6 day trip. With lochs & easy rivers such as Loch Ness, river Spey, Beauly and Glass all close by we have plenty of options to make the best of the weather and conditions. We will stay in accommodation every evening with the emphasis being on open canoeing in some of the classic areas of the north east of the Scotland.

What do I need to bring?

  • Waterproofs, top and bottoms

  • Walking trousers (synthetic materials; jeans or similar are not suitable)

  • Spare shoes to get wet plus dry shoes for camp

  • Quality, breathable waterproof jacket and trousers. We recommend Gore-tex or similar

  • Spare insulating layer

  • Hat & gloves

  • Warm socks

  • Sleeping bag, 3 season

  • Spare set of clothes x 2

  • Some large zip-lock bags to keep your clothes and equipment organised 

  • Head torch, plus spare batteries

  • Water bottle or flask

  • Sunglasses and sun cream (you just never know!) Personal medications
