Our 'further' scrambling course looks developing your previous scrambling skills and knowledge to let you progress onto more exciting and committing terrain. We recap core areas such as planning, movement skills, footwork, route reading from the guide and en route. We also look at basic rope work to be able to look after us as a leader and to protect a second on grade 2-3 terrain.

What do I need to bring?
A pair of stiff comfortable, waterproof walking boots
Quality, breathable waterproof jacket and trousers. Gore-tex or similar
Spare insulating layer
Walking socks
Walking trousers (synthetic materials; jeans or similar are not suitable)
Water bottle or flask
Rucksack 30-40 ltr
Hat & waterproof gloves
Lunch, plus a little spare food
Sunglasses & sun cream (you just never know!)
Waterproof case for phone i.e. zip-lock bag
