Common booking questions
We strongly recommend to have travel insurance, mainly in the event you can't make your trip or there is a event that we can't run the trip such as a pandemic, storms and we need to cancel on the grounds of peoples saftey.
Do I need to have insurance for my trip since it's in the UK?
All of our staff hold the relevant qualifications and substantial experience for any courses that you book with us here at Scottish Rock & Water. We can provide any relevent certifications upon request.
Will my guide/instructor/coach be fully qualified?
We require only a 25% deposit to secure your position on the course/trip with full payment due 30 days prior to the start of your course/trip.
Can I pay a deposit to secure the course/trip?
While we strive to deliver every course, on rare occasions we may have to change plans to keep safety paramount, i.e. reverse the route or have a late start to let the weather pass. In exceptionally bad weather we try to rearrange dates or as a very last resort we would need to cancel.
