Our MCI-qualified instructors offer fully tailored days out, keeping ratios low so you get focused coaching, clear movement instruction and a strong emphasis on safety. Whether you’re taking your first steps into summer scrambling, looking to move more confidently on exposed ridges, or progressing your rock climbing on multi-pitch routes, we’ll design each day around your experience, fitness and ambitions. From the airy scrambles of the Skye Cuillin to the classic rock routes of Glencoe and the Cairngorms, you’ll build solid movement skills, efficient ropework and real confidence on technical terrain, all while enjoying some of the most memorable mountain days Scotland has to offer.

Instead of investing in a full set of technical gear, you can hire carefully selected winter mountaineering kit that’s been chosen and maintained by working guides who use it in real Cairngorm conditions. Whether you’re joining one of our winter skills courses, booking private winter guiding, or planning your own days on the hill, we can supply properly fitted ice axes, crampons and key winter essentials for anything from a single day to a full week. We’ll help you choose the right equipment for your plans, explain how it should fit and be used, and make sure you leave confident that your kit is suitable for the terrain and forecast. With convenient collection in Aviemore and clear guidance from experienced instructors, you can focus on learning and enjoying the winter mountains, knowing your equipment is up to the job.
