The North West provides an array of unusual topography with its roaring sandstone ridges sitting on a Lewisian Gneiss base which provides some great scrambles on the classics such as Liathach, An Teallach & East Buttress on Beinn Eighe. Its just another extraordinary region of Scotland that hooks you, craving to come back for more!

What do I need to bring?
A pair of stiff comfortable, waterproof walking boots
Quality, breathable waterproof jacket and trousers. Gore-tex or similar
Spare insulating layer
Walking socks
Walking trousers (synthetic materials; jeans or similar are not suitable)
Water bottle or flask
Rucksack 30-40 ltr
Hat & waterproof gloves
Lunch, plus a little spare food
