As you can see from the photo above Loch Maree is of sheer beauty, the longest freshwater loch in Scotland that hasn't been impacted by us, humans. It has a total of 66 islands to explore with a pair of nesting sea eagles which can be spotted as you paddle down the loch if we're lucky. The surrounding area is steeped in history and folklore, and it doesn't take long to understand why this area is a delightful favourite.

Highlights for Guided Canoe Trip On Loch Maree

  • Learn how to paddle the traditional style open canoe

  • Paddle across the longest non-human impacted freshwater Loch in Scotland

  • Paddle through some exciting but easy white water

  • Explore some of the 66 islands, inc Isle Maree where there is a real life money tree

  • Have a chance to see a white-tailed Sea Eagle in its natural surroundings
