Sea Kayak Applecross - Night 1, Northern Peninsula
Starting off at the idyllic waters of Loch Sheldiag, we make our way towards the northern peninsula. It's not uncommon to see the the largest bird of prey in the British Isles en-route; the majestic sea eagle. The trickiest part of whole trip is getting around the headland and we may need to make alternative plans based on the current conditions.
Waking up looking across towards the Isle of Rassay & Skye, you couldn't ask for a better view for breakfast! After getting organised we will have a chat about the day ahead before heading off. On the way past the village of Applecross we can pop in for some Fish and Chips if people wish before heading to camp for the night.
With only a short paddle ahead, we have our tea/coffee and breakfast taking in the views of the infamous Cuillin Ridge. Once again we will chat through the current conditions before making our way to the minibus parked at the end of the trip.
It's all over too soon! We get packed up and make our way back home, dropping off at Inverness train station before saying our goodbyes!
